The story of Alegrías,
I am Jeanett Rosales GALÁN, a young Mexican chef from Guadalajara, in the state of Jalisco, the birthplace of tequila.
With François VELTIN, we founded Alegrias, a Mexican restaurant in Paris 11 born from a common project, built over time, between passion, demand and deep attachment to my roots.
After several years in Paris, opening a Mexican restaurant in Paris has become obvious: offering sincere cuisine, faithful to its origins, while inscribing it in a contemporary vision.

At Alegrias, our ambition is not to create a simple taqueria, nor to offer a fusion cuisine.
We defend a contemporary Mexican cuisine, rooted in traditions, but designed for today.
Mexican cuisine, a member of humanity's intangible cultural heritage, is a living heritage. Through our dishes, we wish to participate in the transmission of this know-how, by honouring the techniques, products and flavours of Mexico.
Our homemade tacos in Paris, as well as our entire menu, reflect this desire: to respect authenticity while providing a modern and creative reading.
Located in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, a stone's throw from République, Oberkampf and Canal Saint Martin, Alegrias is part of a lively, creative neighbourhood open to the world.
This choice of location was naturally imposed: an ideal place to discover demanding, accessible and friendly Mexican cuisine.
